@fordfry and State of Grace in Houston, Texas

Fun fact: Ford Fry was actually one of my early followers. I remember when I told my mom and she started freaking out for me since I'm a smaller and newer creator. So I was really happy that we were able to get reservations at his restaurant State of Grace for brunch while on college tours in Texas.
Read on to see the mouth-watering cinnamon roll and the Crawfish Enchiladas!!

As promised: the glorious Warm Cinnamon Roll. You can practically taste the warm frosting oozing off of the roll. And let me tell you, it was amazing -- one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. It was warm, soft, and sweet. But that wasn't the only starter we got!

We also ordered the Deviled Eggs and Gumbo with smoked chicken and sausage. Deviled eggs are some of my favorites so they were a hit. Because my spice tolerance is so low, the gumbo was a bit too spicy for me but it was still delicious nonetheless.
To clarify: there were four of us on this trip (my mom, dad, brother, and me) because I know it looks like a lot of food for just two people.
Onto the brunch part! As mentioned, I ordered the Crawfish Enchiladas which were spicy but good! It was a really unique dish and the avocado added a nice relief from the heat of the sauce. My mom's Softshell Crab Benedict was seriously one of the coolest dishes I've ever seen.

I mean the whole crab was fried, topped with pocahed eggs and pickled red onions with hollandaise, tomato gravy, and fried green tomatoes underneath.
My brother's Chicken Fried Chicken was also something to behold. Look at those two fried eggs on top! The butter biscuits underneath were so buttery, soft, and warm. One big bite with the gravy, chicken, biscuit, and egg was perfect and harmonious. All the flavors meshed well together and nothing was too overpowering.

Honestly, there were so many more things we wanted to try on the menu like the Griddle Cakes but there's only four of us so we could only do so much. That being said, if you're in the area, you should check it out and let me know how it goes! I've attached a link to their website below!
