Delbar brings the Middle East to Atlanta

In this post, I'm going to be focusing on the food more than my writing. Delbar is a middle-eastern restaurant located in Inman Village in Atlanta, Georgia. My family and I love this restaurant and evidently, so does everyone else. The place is always packed and the quality of food is always amazing.
I've posted quite a few pictures from this restaurant, so I'll be breaking nearly every dish down in further context!
These are all the appetizers we've tried the times we've gone. Starting from the top left:
Omani Prawns
Hummus + shroom and shishito
Falafel plate
Wings
I recommend ordering the falafel plate and keeping the vegetables to go along with your main courses -- it pairs really nicely and adds freshness to the meats!
The main entrees are served family-style so you'll have to decide how many you order. As a general guideline, there are four people in my family and we always get at least three. They also have side dishes like grilled vegetables and different variations of rice. So in total, you're looking at about at least 3 dishes.
Here are all the meats we ordered as they appear on the menu -- starting from the top left corner
Shishlik
Grilled vegetables
Shish Kabob
Sea bass
Salmon Kabob
Akbar Joojeh (a cornish hen)
All of the meats are cooked perfectly and the shish kabob was incredibly tender. The salmon and sea bass was soft and very easy to cut with your fork. I recommend getting the cornish hen, but know that you'll have to carve it yourself. If you're okay with that, the pomegranate sauce it comes with is delicious and I highly recommend trying it! And as I said before, the vegetables from the falafel plate can be kept and eaten with any of these meats or other meats you choose to order to add freshness.
The Grilled Vegetables are under the "Greens and Grains" section on the menu. For grains, I recommend trying the Lubia Polo or the Adas Polo. The Lubia is topped with thin potato slices and contains small pieces of beef, tomato, and green beans. The Adas is a bit plainer with only raisins added in. Both of these have a basmati rice base.

And of course, you can't leave without dessert. Delbar has a variety of traditional middle-eastern desserts including Baklava. Theirs are topped with pistachios and paired with Rose-water based pistachio ice cream. The pastry is cooked perfectly, very light and airy. Though the ice cream can be really "rosey" and while I recommend you try it, you might want to just eat the pastry plain which is delicious on its own.

Whether you order anything that I got or something else, this place is very good and you won't be disappointed either way. Let me know how it goes!
