Ditch the pizza chains and opt for this authentic, fresh, and delicious pizza place instead for your next delivery or sit-down!
There are many different types of pizza out there. You've got Deep dish from Chicago, the classic New York-style with its huge slices and thin crusts, and the rectangular Detroit-style. But my favorite is the Italian style. With its thin, doughy, and slightly burnt crust it definitely makes it easy to lose track of your slice count. Thankfully, Luca Varuni's Varuni Napoli has two locations to satisfy my cravings in Midtown and Krog Street Market!!

Aside from the delicious pizza, this place has been featured in over 20 magazines including AJC, Eater, and Zagat. They also have salads, sandwiches, and a couple of appetizers if you're in the mood for something else. And of course, dessert! You can't go wrong with either a Nutella Calzone or a traditional Italian Cannoli. And let me say this: I'm not a fan of cannolis due to the goat cheese, but when I went, I think I ate a total of four. Bottom line, my mind was definitely changed.
For the pizza lovers, this part is for you! Luca Varuni has created ten different types of pizza with two of them being vegetarian like the classic Margherita. If you're not a fan of tomato sauce, no problem! They have four different types of white pizzas to choose from so you're never left out! My personal favorite is pictured above: the Pako.
"Fresh mozzarella, San Marzano tomato sauce, Italian sausage, caramelized onions, roasted mushrooms, roasted peppers, Pecorino Romano, basil, and EVOO"
complete this beautiful creation. I had to quote it exactly from the website/menu description to give every ingredient and the restaurant proper credit!
So if you're in the Atlanta area, be sure to check out Veruni Napoli! I promise you won't regret it. And be sure to let me know how it goes!
