Blueberry & Banana Protein Smoothie

Guys!! I'm getting better at coming up with recipes on my own! I think one of the things that's important to realize is that cooking doesn't always have to be perfect. With a lot of the recipes I've posted (including this one), I didn't measure exactly and gave estimates of what I thought I used. I'll still continue to give as close to precise measurements as possible, but for the most part, have fun and change, add, or omit anything you don't like.
I came up with this smoothie on the fly and it was so delicious. If you don't like almond butter, then just don't add it -- but I promise it'll taste better that way. If you have allergies, definitely don't add it.
There's also no dairy in the smoothie either so don't worry if you're lactose intolerant. And of course, no added sugars of any sort.
Recipe + Instructions
What you'll need:
- one banana
- scoop of plain or vanilla protein powder
- spoonful of almond butter or other nut butter
- 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
- cup of ice
- cup of blueberries
Put all ingredients in the blender, pour into a cup, and enjoy!
